Since 2003, the Dogs Trust Education Team have been delivering educational programmes to young people and children all across the UK. Our programme focusses primarily on two key themes: Responsible Dog Ownership and Safe Behaviour Around Dogs.
In order to understand the issues dogs face in the UK, we take a research-led approach when designing our programmes and interventions. Our goal is to reach a range of audiences in order to influence and motivate changes in human behaviour so that we see an improvement in overall dog welfare.
